I got a PM from Dark Knight yesterday and as it was about a safety issue and involves the EA's I thought I should pop it on here :Claugh:

About 2 minutes in it show someone flipping with a bottle held in the mouth. We all eat/drink and do "normal" things while bock but I hope you why what he did is dangerous. One slip and that bottle could be a killer, extreme maybe but I believe it should pointed out.
I don't believe you told anyone about "Pro-Jump 101" on BBC the other day ! It's still on the BBC Iplayer ( lot for long )

LOL just LOL its a empty bottle with the lid screwd on its a lot safer than linking flips / half the stuff we do on stilts on a daily basis :p
i do this sport because i enjoy the adrenaline rush i know the risks and its my choice what i do with my empty bottle :p

i agree we all know our limits and no EA would do something if they didn't feel comfortable doing it. We all love this sport and if anything we are just trying new things and it gives us a good feeling :)

Paul I was not getting at you or anyone. What I'm trying to say is should you slip and hit your face with a bottle in your mouth where would in end up !
I know Jason said it was only my option but I posted him a message and he thought it worth posting ( That's the first time it two years ! ).
Your all good at flipping ... most of the time but haven't you just posted a video of you falling over ?
One point missing was someone will watch it and copy it even if they've only even flipped once ( there's a fool born every minute ).

I'd just like to say that IMO flipping with an empty bottle is about as dangerous as say..walking around with a stick, probably home made, used for balancing when you want to stand still. WHAT IF YOU FELL AND IMPALED YOURSELF ON IT? Nobody would want that would they?!

lol i just explained to him that i enjoy the sport because of the adrenaline rush i know the risks if i get hurt its my fault and anyone could watch a video of anything and try something silly. I know my limits but i will try to keep on the straight and narrow from now on!

and alo il think he will fined that paul had the bottle in his hand for takeoff and them mid flip put it in his mouth so if he was going to fail he wouldn't put the bottle in his mouth ...... simples

DK is messaging me now about this bottle thing.
Im not sure why he worrys so much. Although the 1 in 50 chance of falling on your face at the right angle with a bottle in your mouth, i can see some broken teeth or a trip to the A&E. memories.....
But anyway. Ill tell him to leave it and to not worry so much.

Depending on the size of the bottle if it was one of them like aeroplane whiskey bottles you could choke on it :P :Csmile:
but if its a like coke bottle (not a 2 litre one) then if u did face plant im sure ur face would go :Cchatterbox: and the bottle would simply fall out your mouth :P

Think I've got the answer Paul
Next time use a Hot Water Bottle and fill it with air :Claugh:
It will act as an air cushion and save your good looks if you faceplant :Cbiggrin:
Actually I think we should all carry one as this would have saved Bexx from an A&E visit and some stitches
I'm off to buy mine tomorrow and will be clutching it in my teeth next meet :Claugh:
Also one stuffed down the back of my trousers might help :Cbiggrin: and one on each hip and elbows

Hmm perhaps i should make a video testing out different bottle sizes to see if can establish which bottle has the optimum hand to mouth ratio without affecting balance and putting in mouth ability.
But yeh deffinatly be something to start selling Naz :p
