hey guys :) see if i want to jump higher .... is it best to jump on the spot and keep bouncing getting higher with every bounce or to do a run and bounce ? thanks ! :Nero:

well it depends if you got a good running and jump technique.
I personally think you can get higher doing a run then jump as you use your speed as well as a good bounce and do what i call 'brick wall affect'
(run as fast as you can then do a long stride, then use all your speed to force you up, not forward 'like a brick wall is in front of you'.)
but to start off I would say jumping on the spot will get you higher. As every jump will get you higher until you hit your max height.
best way to practice this is to hold onto a lamp post and jump. Practice bouncing and feeling yourself go higher on each bounce.
hope that helps.

This is a very old video but this is what I did in my early days to get higher. Simple but effective. Just push yourself inch by inch but dont forget you need to land too.
In this vid I get to 129cm and now I can clear just over 2m.
This video also shows how loud 7 leagues are!

Love the vid Locky
Clive and I used to do that all the time (Albeit a bit lower for me :Claugh:)
Ditto what all above say super-spring but I am still trying to get more height by loosing weight :Claugh:
