Title: Sweden got talent.
Post by: swebounce on June 16, 2007, 01:09:22 PM
First show
We kept it very simple to be able to have some more difficult things to show in the second program. The judges all liked us very much and we went to the semi final

Semi final

We tried to burn every hard trick we could do but it wasn't enough.
We got three red X but no humiliation like in BBC.

For the semifinal we didn't rehears one single time together.
I left Sweden the day after the first show and came home the day before the Semifinal. Micke had made a video of what he wanted the act to look like and then he sent it to me in China. I had to then rehearse the act by myself with the video without the stilts since I was doing my ring act in China.

Anyway, we where very happy with what we did and it gave us some more contracts in sweden.

I think you did really well, I think the problem is that the judges have no idea just how difficult it is to learn to do tricks on the stilts hence don't appreciate the talent on show.

Would love to get a translated version so at least I could understand :)

I think you were very good. You should have asked the judges to try and flip on the stilts.  :P

the difficulty with pro-jumps is odd. Peeps think 1st off really difficult. But we know basic walking is a bit of a dddle. But if you r good they think you can do anything, but we know thats just not the case.  Mikie more than the rest of us, and I trust he is healing well.

I saw Mathaius ( prob totally wrong spillin) aka swebounce did a totally awesome  trick in spain. To bockers that Ive mentioned it too -the reply  is universal 'MAD MAD MAD  --i just couldnt do it',  but to a layperson watching it -it looks nothing.

The manoever, and i trust im not revealing anything i shouldnt ( ive not watched the vis -it may be on it heheh).. Touching hoofs with hands, but arching the back and throwing arms up and back in a 'I surrender ' way, Then getting back and landing in time

I think I know the trick you're trying to describe, and yeah it's amazing how he manages to do that & yet land so well.

Tbh until the people who judge actually try them they just won't understand.

In the Britains got talent show there were many types of acrobacks who got through doing similar flips and jumps without any equipment and the judges are left saying wow simply becuase they recognised they wouldn't be able to do that or it would take a lot of talent. Yet failed to recoginise that its actually harder on bocks!  >:(
