I know you buy some pads from pro jumpers but I've got big arms and I'm put off when pads say ' One size fits all ' Becuse that mean They'll only just fit me :-\
I've got some cheap pads ( 'No Fear' knee and wrist ( wrists aren't that bad ) ) for just £6 but I want better, where would you go if you'd like to try before you buy. If the don't feel right you'd lose the enjoyment.

I'm 6ft 3" and weigh 17 stone I ride horses and I work in the building/maintainance trade so my calfs are large (hold on I'll just measure them 18")
Both the knee and elbow pads (Pit Dirt ones) that projump sell fit me easily and are really comfy (if a little sweaty)
Also they are cheep at £20 for both and the knee bars seemed to fit in the groove on them (when I had knee bar got cuffs now)
By the way the elbow pads are kids knee pads but work well

And its a velcro fitting so it's a snug fit for most people!

I'll get the £20 set and have a look around, maybe for something better.
Same goes for a wrist pad they look better that what I've got !
I never hurts to have too many pads :)

Don't let our low prices decieve you into thinking the quality isn't good!
The Pit Dirt knee / Elbow set was mainly made to go with our motocross shop and are used by a lot of dirt / pit bike riders and got very good reviews. However recently the bockers seem to find they give great performance too.

I said at the start that not everyone is the same shape and where " One size fits all " may be close to the truth that's not always true !?
Having just brought some like this i find with my arms the elbow pads a little tight, and look a little small on my arms ! Saying that it's better that having nothing on your hands and with a little modification shouldn't be too bad ( the hoops should have been on a longer tape !? ) .
So buying on-line it fine for 'normal' shaped people but some may have to think before they buy.
One thing you have to remember is if it doesn't fit right then how good is it helping !?

DK if thats a pic of you I'm suprised that you can get shirts to fit your arms let alone pads you would have to get knee pads to fit round those arm muscles ;) ;D

Maybe Projump should write one size should fit all unless you are another Arnie

I tried the knee pad ! It's just a little too big, but only just ! :o

Just been out with my new knee pads on !
Found more problems.
The top str***e is under the hoop was I can't really use it. The with the guard on my leg only just fits the hoop, in fact I don't need the str***e.
The calf pad cut into the bottom of my .... calf now
The lowwer str***e is a little to short to go aroulnd boot as well as my foot, but a little short not too !?
Looks like a bit of MODing's called for ;D

I had the same probs DK I made a thinner calf pad at first but then I made the cuffs and I just took the calf pad off to save weight
Go on make yourself some cuffs you know you want to ;) ;D

I'm still work out the bugs on my Mk2 tyre hoof boots, which have quick change hoofs ( grippy, hardrubber and metal studs ) ! :o
But if you know eveyone how makes cuffs tell me ;)

I saw a mod for the hoofs somewhere I can't remember where but the guy had cut all the rubber off and then bolted a section of car tyre to the bare alloy foot
It looked good

Now that almost has good has what I have planed :)

There a garage near a chippy called Mill Tyres they have loads of tyre wondor if I could cut one of them up ???
I've got a tyre that need a patch I'll ask if I can have one !?
