Jason and Lizzi are a tattoo
« on: November 17, 2009, 11:59:33 PM »
From time to time a picture gets posted that stands out from the rest, I think this picture of Jason and Lozzi one of them. Even if you can't see any stilts Jasons hard work in making his dragon outfit really shows and makes us feel sorry for poor Lizzi.

I liked it so much I printed it out to show people at work. I put it up on the wall and left it there. Today one of my workmates as told me he wants a copy of this picture so he can have it has a tattoo.
That's right Jason and Lozzi will be permanently inked onto someones body. Once he's had it done I'll post a picture.

mm yes a nice pix, and i took man others in a similar vain, tho of a lower quality, indeed, I orchestrated the posing for this and them pix.

But, I have a problem. For me it was done within a context, a/ of fun and b/in homage to Jason and his effort ,input and skills.

Taken from there, Im a lil uneasy about some1 wanting a tatoo of a young woman chained and onher knees to a physically strong and overpowering force. And to even out my pix included Lozzie leading lynch in chains.

The sepia tones give this pix, along with the venue and, the way 1 is lead to view, lozzies clothing a sence of this being something from the past, a metaphor of you will. Id say it should stay in past.

Sorry folks

What is to say that's not the reason the person wants the tattoo of the image as well?
However, I see where you are coming from and why it would worry you.

:Claugh: that'd be a tad weird, do copyright laws/etc count if someone takes the image for a tattoo?

I gave him a better copy of the picture today and he said he would give it to the tattoo artist to copy. He only wants the dragon and girl not the background.
I then ask him where he was going to have it a simple question ? What did he say " Great Yarmouth "    :Cconfused:
He then pointed to his lowwer leg after I working out what I meant  :Ctwitcy:

I did joke about copyrights but I would feel honored that someone to wanted me as a tattoo ?
Will be nice to find out what Jason and Lizzi as to say ?

Yes Copywrite laws do cover Tattoos and without Bwerd pemision the guy would have to have it removed (a very painfull business )

So might be best to ask first

...That's so weird. Getting a tattoo of someone you've never met. =/
...Tis a fantastic image though! =)
Everyone's dreams sit aloft a rungless ladder. Some ladders are higher than others. Some are so tall they reach high above the clouds - but everyone can see their dream. Most people see that their ladder has no rungs and although they may talk about climbing it one day, seeing no way to get there, they eventually give up and settle for what lies beneath it.
The brave however, the wise, the imaginative and the strong of will seek out their missing rungs. They learn all they can about the ladder, they surround themselves with friends and family who would also find the rungs, and failing all else they craft the steps themselves with their own two hands from nothing. Sometimes a rung breaks and the person falls. Some of these people will fall too hard and lose the strength to climb again - Yet they feel comfort in knowing they tried. They became better for it. And they experienced things and witnessed sights upon the climb that those who sat forever beneath it will never know.
Then there are the special few who find new steps, or fix and climb again the ones that failed. Who eventually, through sheer tenacity and courage come to reach the final rung - Only they will have their dreams fulfilled. The extraordinary then build new ladders. These are the strongest people of all.
