Bockin Booze Cruze

Would this interest anybody?

The local newspapers here on the south coast are forever running offers for cheap trips to France. So I wondered if anybody fancied --in the moderatly near future -- a bit of 'bockin a la francaise' followed by a quick hypermarket sweep.

Let me know if there is any interest and Ill delve more

not got a great amount of info --wanted to see if there was interest.

But last time I looked into it. Things were somat like this. Day in france choice of any of brittany ferries ferries. So the best opition ( 4 me) . was an early morning sailing from Portsmouth to le harve. This ment 1 could drive along the D Day beaches ( Im thinking pill boxes and concrete gun emplacements -excellent bocking potential). Then up the Cherbourg peninsula for a ferry to Poole.

As I recall it was about £10 a person + £25-30 a car. Tho that can vary.

So that is the basic idea of things.
