I bock through Covent garden most mornings on my way to breakfast at the Chandros cafe so I have got used to the cobbles (only at walking and the odd jog) and the surounding roads and pavements are ok

Yes Carl of course you can I'll Pm you

Looking forward to it! Sorry to be a pain, but are there any directions to Hyde Park, there must be some somewhere but I can't be bothered to read through millions of posts to find them! Haha.

If I get to Waterloo station can I just get the underground to Hyde Park Corner? Or is it a bit more complicated than that? Haha

Ok, Northbound Jubilee Line to Green Park Station. I will come meet you there if you tell me when you get into Waterloo Station.

To everyone whos getting there by tube. You will be better to go to Green Park due to it being a major interchange station and having three interconnecting lines in it. I will come down and meet you at the station as I know the way like the back of my hand if you wish. I already plan to meet some so if you just drop me a PM and I will send you my phone number so you can let me know when you get into London.

Ok, sorry for the lateness of this message, only just remembered. But can everyone wear AT LEAST wrist guards... This is because this could be an extremely publicised event and we have a duty to set an example to everyone observing. Knee and elbow guards or helmets are purely up to you.. But wrist guards are a MUST. If anyone doesnt have any, I will bring a spare (unused) set. If anyone has spares can they bring them along please!

Hi Carma

I hope I've got it wrong but I downloaded your route map so I can meet you lot at midday and then looked at the first post  looks like we're double booked

Route map says 4-30pm Parliament Sq
1st post says record attempt in hyde park 4-00pm

It's gonna be one fast bock to do that  ;D

Or have I missed an update on the Route map  ???

Nope, as mentioned on the map, the route after lunch is suggestive only. We dont have to be anywhere for the record so we will do it on route, OR we MIGHT travel to Tottenham Court Road to the GWR head quarters and take photos of our attempt outside :). We will decide this on the day.

a photo's would be great but an idea would be to line up and get someone with a video to go alone the line.
Everyone in turn would yell their names out so you'd know how many was there and all the names.

With no one running from one end to the other as some did at CB !
That may have been funny but not for the record.

Thanks Carma

You have to explain things to me slowly and sometimes twice remember I'm an old man  ;D

At least thats my excuse for being stupid and not reading the map properly  ;)

The final stage around Hyde Park Corner ?
It's much better to go over Hyde Park Corner than around the edge.
When you come from Constitution Hill on the righthand side there's a crossing on the far side there's one near Knightsbridge Green.
I'll find the list of live webcams that you'll be passing on route.
