bocking playground
« on: November 06, 2007, 09:10:10 PM »
This is something i would love to build in my back garden. but maybe when I'm a good enough bocker and have the money to spare. but i got the land and the machinery to do it. (might make it bit by bit)

If i did build it I would use it for a meet up for the Jurassic jumpers and then we could have a party in my house.  ;D

just let me know what you lot think and what I might be missing.

That looks pretty cool, maybe a trampoline somewhere to fine tune the extreme tricks ;)

You would need a very big garden though   :)

I knew I'd seen a vid before that someone did for a Poweriser Park - It was Sprog who did it and he had a soft area for newbies, foam pit to try tricks, raised platforms etc

Would have to be something that's done all around the country or a massive one centrally located including gym facilities.

Doesn't the government do grants for anything to do with exercise as a way to stop obeisity.

So my advice is

Cant remember who it was but I did read somewhere that someone got approached by a school to teach powerbocking!

Wonder what happened about that as I never heard anything after?  :-\

its a great idea, i live in birmingham and now i have them it looks like one huge bock-ground but dedicated site's are what will elevate the sport.

The Problem with this is that to make it affordable you would want to have a rental shop next to it so people can rent them out and have some fun. Then you charge entry if you have bocks(at a cheaper price) and then if they dont charge more!!!!

This is a idea that could work but where would you build it???? best would be inside then as weather wouyld never effect it????? so maybe have a indoor and outdoor area??????

Or If you could build the inside part near Hyde Park you could use Hyde park to run around in?????
i think we have struck something here  ::)

I would just like to add, I am actually a draughtsman by trade, I design floor plans for 8 hours everyday. My CAD skills might be of GREAT interest to you guys.
