I've stopped making the mk1's as the company that supplied the rubber went bust and although I found another company the new rubber looks the same and grips the same but dosen't wear as well so I can't justify the cost compared to the length of wear

The Mk2's are much cheaper so I will still make them but be aware that they don't last as long as they used to (I get about 4 weeks of bocking aprox 16-20 hrs from a set now and the replacement rubbers are £6 inc postage

So if you wear out a set of normal hoofs in les than 40 hrs they are good value but the new PJ hoofs seem to wear well

Next time we are at a meet have a go on mine and see if you like them

I have just started testing a motorcycle tyre that is bolted on like the original hoof and its good in the dry but more testing needed
