In armour on 8th March
« on: January 28, 2008, 12:45:45 PM »
All being well I will be at Sainsburys on Longwater Business Park Norwich on 8th March, with a bunch of bucket collectors for Marie Curie Cancer Research....so if any of you guys want to witness TD-2441 in action (and be photographed on your knees with my blaster to your head!!!) then come along!     This is the treatment you will receive:

I believe she is the one on the right.  As the gun matches the one in her earlier pic.

It's quite a way out from the town centre if you're gonna jump all the way!!  I can let the charity people know there may be a bunch of mad-heads on springs turning up if you want, I'm sure they'll be happy to have anyone else who will attract attention and boost donations ;)

I'll prob be around from 11 till about 1pm depending on what the crowds are like - I don't stay in armour for long as the heavy field pack gives me backache after a couple of hours....plus the armour isn't exactly comfy to wear  :'(

I have a supd trooper, not got Darth Tater or Artoo-Potatoo yet though ;)

The armour came in kit form from Canada and was built to fit me, and weathered seperately.  Cost an arm and a leg but I've always wanted to do it and I dind't want to be gasping my last breath on my deathbed and regretting never having been a Stormtrooper ;)  You only have one life, so do what you dream of!

I've been a Star Wars obsessive since I was about 11, so the minute I found out there was a costuming organisation who went out an about to events, met celebs, got photographed more times than paris Hilton, and could help me build some Trooper armour, I was there
