To be honest, any kind of suggestion of Bocking inside a public place is a BAD idea. Gives the groups and the sport a bad name.

I agree Carma

If I go to a shop or anywhere like a mall I either take the PJ's off and carry them in or if they aren't to busy wave from the door and they will either wave you in or treat you as unable to enter and sometimes serve you at the door

Using this methoud I am aloud in most of the shops I use regularly in the west end of london and have a good laugh with the owners much better than being kicked out and causing problems for all who try afterwards

So just ASK FIRST and they might say yes

If we cant be trusted why should we be encouraged to do tricks flips and jump, say that we cant risk it

I must say I have found a lot of owners to be really good it might be my age or the fact that I'm so big they are frightened to have a go at me

2 cafes that I use one I get off because it is a bit tight but the other even gave me a cup of tea to carry to the table (even I worried about that but you should have seen the punters I walked past)

4 newsagents all either have a laugh with me or get me my copy of the sun (keep them on the floor)

and the cloth shop likes me to visit as long as it's not to busy and then they park me in a corner and serve me

I do tend to go in the first time on foot carrying and chat then after a couple of visits pop in to get something and by that time they just ignore the stilts and chat

The only place I've been banned from is Work  :haha:

I must say, its a case of respecting peoples rights to refuse us entry, if you start getting shirty, your not gunna get anywhere. If you are responcible enough to ask. They tend to let you in. Or explain nicely that it wouldnt be a good idea.

I dont understand why people get so sh*tty about it, if I was a shop owner, I wouldnt want any kind of stilt walkers coming into my shop, and I am a Bocker myself!
