Laying Down on the Job Again
« on: February 02, 2008, 11:22:07 PM »
I did a beauty today (with an audience)

Finally got the methoud of hoping up onto the 2ft high 2ft wide and 10ft long concrete seats in Staines memorial gardens (not jumping just sort of stepping up at speed )

Went on to run along them and jump off (bit of free height) a couple of young lads were chatting and saying they would like some so I was showing them what I could do and you guessed it

Up onto the seat , run, jump stumble and straight down forwards at speed  no pain and no personal damage thanks to PitDirt and Flexmeter and due to a short fence post back on my feet in a couple of seconds

Now the good bit my Pit dirt knee pads have seen a lot of action (yes I fall on them a lot ) so I have already bought another pair and am about to order a third set due to today just so you can see the sort of damage 17st at 15 mph from about 5 ft up can do heres a pic of the dead one (11 months of hard action) and the slider from my wrist guards (was hardly scratched before this fall )

I would highly recomend Pit Dirt stuff it has saved me from a lot for a long time

Yes Spud I am known for falling but like they say if your not falling your not trying hard enough  :haha:

When I rolled over after comming to a stop Naz I was waiting for the sound of laughter but although it did come it wasn't from the lads watching me it was from some kids a distance away
I must admit I used a post to get up but I did it the sideways splits methoud (always looks good just wish I could do it without a post )

But the lads were looking at me like they'd just seen a corpse get up. I think from close up it must have looked fairly spectacular (after all I'm quite big ) and I think they they thought they had a dead body on their hands  :haha:

I see. Yea that was bad. And stupid on bocks for first time. But lol he sat in the road in shock for 10 mins. LOL and he was more worried about the fag than the blood on his hands. He was also too cool for protection.
