Festivals

Anyone else looking to be going to any festivals once the weather gets warmer?

Thought it might be an idea to start a thread to flag these up in one place. There is also the possibliity of peeps making a weekend of things and joining others.

Ill start this off with what the JJ's are looking at ( not Ive not put this in the JJ section cos I saw it as a national thing).

Bocking Pride at the Bourne Free Festival www.bournemouthfree.co.uk  11, 12, 13 July. Last year tundraH dragged up and Sprog got the 'hots' for him. Well to be honest, quite a few did that day. Well I ask you a 6'5'' skin head in a floral dress , pink nail varnish and on spring loaded stilts!!

http://www.flamefireshow.com/southernlights2008.html  A lil festival between Poole and Wareham  13, 14, 15 June. Does work shops, so we might do a bocking one.

www.campbestival.net Lulworth Castle in the Purbeck area of Dorset ( indeed the 'actual' Jurrasic coast ) 18,19, 20 July. More family orientated ( has a sports day so maybe try out a few CB08 things )

Wight Extreme ( Ill find web addy later). Ise of Wight 1st weekend in Sept. A weekend of extreme sports. Mainly water based but includes land boarding, half pipe for BMX and sk8 boards and more. Has food, beer and music tents. Free buses to and from the ferry terminals. Thought could be a chilled out way to end the summer and maybe bring any other 'toys' we might have.

Just ideas for 'bit different' bocking weekends.
