Practice. When I forts got mine I put an old chin up bar on the kitchen door and just took little steps on the spot holding on until I got used to them and started to keep up without needing to hold on. Most important part is to keep moving! I start to wobble and lean forwads and back if I stop moving for too long! very tiring.

Get the hang of standing up before you strat to walk. At the minuit you are a bambi..Have little control of your legs and stuff right? Once you practice keeping up then you will have more contol. Its practice. Secondly if you are clinging to a wall your wieght will be off and away from the C of G making it much harder for you so try keeping up, then get somebody to walk infront of you and hold thier hands but dont lean. Keep straight!

They are quite heavy but you will soon adjust to it.

I used a wall when I started to walk in them, so i could slowly build up my confidence to walk on them without the wall

At first take little steps, pick your feet up so you do not stumble.

Look forward not at your feet.

Walk with your knees apart (pretend theres a football between your Knees).

Try to walk with your feet pointing directly in front of you like this  I I  not slightly splayed like this V

Hope this helps

they keep hittin each other wen i try n walk

The usual reason they hit each other is simple !?
You walk like a duck  :o
When you walk ( without them on ) stop and look at where your toes piont !?
They should piont forward but I'm betting then piont out a little ( like a duck )
Your knee only bends forward and backward so try keeping hips straight.
Think of each foot on a train track and your PJ's shouldn't hit each other

You also say you keep falling over ? Your not trying to stand still on the spot  :-\
You need to tread water ( keep moving ).

First have you got them adjusted properly for knee height and are you well strapped in (read every post on the forum you will find a lot of help on adjusting and first steps ) use the search engine

Next get youself a 7ft stick and use it as a walking stick (turn yourself into a tripod)

Then just keep getting on them until your leg muscles are strong enough so they don't go wobbly after a couple of hours

once you can walk and run the best bit of advice I was given was by tundraH when Iasked how he got so good he said spend at least 2 hrs a day every day on them

And finally Enjoy Yourself

Unless you really do have small hips, they really shouldn't hit each other  :-\
There a couple of people who are not very tall/big their doing great it just takes time  :)
It more learning to keep them straight and controlling your stride, don't rush to run keep your step small and build up slowly.

Keep your feet paralell, your springs are almost touching each other as you walk.

Your doing quite well mate just keep going and it will all come together

One Big bit of advice get yourself a set of knee and elbow pads and most of all Wristguards

You don't want to know how much pain you'll be in if you have a bad fall without them
I speak from experience I thought I didn't need wristguards until I slipped up walking (yes Walking ) and shattered my wrist

Have a look at what Wristguards prevent

http://www.projumpforum.co.uk/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=185

http://www.projumpforum.co.uk/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=167

Learn from my pain and get Pads
