try firstly the footplate screws, then have a look at the bolts from footplate to spring, see if you can turn them with your fingers, they are not really known for coming loose though i dont think.
it could be the bushings.
try to be a little more descriptive of where the movement is.
can you hold the footplate and move the spring side to side a little?

Compare both the stilts see if you can spot any nuts / bolts that are loose or missing. In the manual you will find exploded diagrams of how all the parts fit together.

If you take a look at the manual page 16 http://www.projump.co.uk/ProJump-Online-Manual.pdf, is that where the movement is?

The picture below shows that area, the blue arrows point to where the bushings sit.

The round things (look like top hats without the top part!) are the bushings (in the picture on the right hand side)

It could be the white bricks missing !?
The bit of plastic between the tube and spring !

Yep thats what I was thinking DK..

1st check - Is your white plastic shock absorber still in place? That's the white bit you see hanging out from under the tube?

Check that your bushings are not damaged, check that the bolt/nut is secure.

If the bushings are damaged or the white shock absorber isnt there please pm me your name / address & order number if you still have it and we will post some out to you.

Hi CRAIZI-J

When you get the new bushes from projump look here for a run through on replacing just ignore the fact that I'm using different bearings so you don't need to do all the reaming and machining and don't use any grease as the plastic ones are self lubricating

If you can use a spanner you can replace a full set in about an hour but take your time and get it right

I havn't shown the foot bearings but they are very similar and normally the first to go

To be honest I'd be very suprised if the bushing's have gone as his only had them for a few weeks (if memory serves me right!) but if they have we will replace them for him.

Check the nuts and bolts there, also check the bushings, if you are unsure about what you are looking for get some pictures up or get Carl or another bocker to check them for you so pin point the problem.

And I'd love to tell you it's Carls jumping that's caused the problem, but I doubt it   ;)

The only way to be sure whats happening is to undo the nut and bolt and have a look they are easy to dismantle and fairly simple to put back

If you get lost the order is Washer, frame, washer, bush then the other side is the same the tube is in the middle and the bolt goes through the middle

If you get them out then take a pic it will easier to tell you what is wrong

Also you get to learn about how they go together
