for Paris   ,hostels prob best opion.   There is a link to the site for all of them on the JJ site and a route round Paris. start eiffel tower, les innvelides, tulleries for lunch ( or maybe the artificial beach they put up each summer) pompedu cente, notre dame... well you get idea  and all spelling is approx ;D

The vid  Gixer supplied of the peeps in france.  It looks to be 'La Defence'.  its a northern  suburb. Its an area of modern arcitecture (earliest about 1955) and out door sculpture park. Ive only seen pix  but looks awesome spot

Also the thread has a link to a french forum.

update  wasant  la defence   but do a google earth on the place

Just a thought for those of you seriously considering going on this trip. Do you all have E111 forms/cards now because if you don't it might be a good idea to get that sorted before you go.

If you don't know what they are basically away for you to get acess to any hospital in europe while you are away. It doesn't cost (I didnt pay). It's a gorvernment thing and you can pick up the paperwork form your post office. I have had mine years now. You used to have to carry a few pages of paper but now they issue with a card that fits in your wallet  ;D

I just thought I would let you consider it. There are no downsides and might be useful if anybody does hurt them selves or get sick while away

***Please note this I dont know to much about this. It's now called EHIC apparently and there is some info here**

Ok as we all want to do this im going to suggest end of August im off for 2 weeks from the 17th till the 1st of September so if we come up with a date that suits most people i can find out about ferry tickets etc as they are different depending on when we go etc but if we do this at end of august its a good way to end the summer and it means all the students will be off college or school and could come, and everyone has loads of time to save money up and stuff, just a few things i need to know,

1, Who will deffinatly be going who can drive and if so how many people comfy could you fit in your car bearing in mind taking bocks and clothes etc for a few days
2, Will the minors parents be ok with there kids going away bocking in France for a few days
3, Where do people want to visit in France so i can come up with a rough guide for where we want to head to and how long realisticly we will want there to get some decent bocking time in

If there is more people going than we have cars for ill figure somethink out but im hoping all EA members who can drive will come such as Tok, Carl, Dk, and Hex if any other EAs drive just say i dont know of any others so give me your input if you cant go tho please dont hijack the thread thank you

Hmmm, i think i'm gonna have to pass on this, as saving money for CB, therefore i can't do both. :(
