Sponsorship
« on: April 03, 2008, 03:51:02 PM »
Hey people. Well Q, has now registered us as team ' bockers for life ' for walk for life. All we need now is sponsership and/or for you to join our team and raise money for HIV and AIDS. For those who are taking part could you register here www.walkforlife.co.uk and then add yourself to the 'bockers for life' team. Once you have registered and joined the team, copy and paste the address at the top and put it on here, like i have done below, this way people will get a quick link to our sponser pages.

It couldnt be easier, you can sponser us online now. So get digging in those pockets.
To sponser click on links below for who you want to sponser.

Thanks, jelly xxx

Yeah I can do and will do a page on the website too just incase browsers feel generous, I didn't realise that you couldn't just add money to the team page and that you have to go through an individual.

So If I create a button linking to http://www.walkforlife.co.uk/public_team.php?teamid=15&teamtype=Regular%20Team would it be ok or do you prefer that it links to a particular person?

Alternatively Jelly have you thought about creating a paypal account and getting people to donate into that and then just donating the full sum to Walk for Life?

Second thoughts paypal do take some fees so you may lose some money so maybe not such a good idea  :-\

Im a bit mad that it only goes through individuals, but if we were to do it paypal i think we may lose out on the 28% giftaid each time someone makes a donation. Im crap at stuff like this. jelly x
