Author Topic: Can we make the forum boards, subboards, more organised? (Read 14513 times)

Hey all,

I was looking at the forum, and thought that maybe I've set up too many boards

Do you think the forum could be organised better and if so what would you change, I feel many of the categories are too narrow or specific, should they be more generalised or left as they are?

I think they are fine as they are but maybe some could be lablelled better..there a few that have simular titles but different content and also there are some that have different labels and the same content if you get me?

Setting up and problems and solutions have kinda overlapped I think. I will let you know if I see more as I come across them...

There is one thing I dont like though and that is the child safe things in some of the boads..more to the point I dont like it that some posts are like like just in that board and that some are under topics..I think it would look better and be easier to navigate if some they were all in sub-boards or not Like maybe instead of letting the adult ones float about have an adult bit like the child ones or something below the child bit

hope you get it...I am struggling to explain it.

hey i thin its fine as it is i know how to find the things i need to find and im genrally happy about the job you do with running it. so for me its all

I actually gotta agree with lee..I really like this forum..It is well organised ect. I dont really like using the others becuase I find it hard to find stuff. I usually stumble upon random useful stuff every now and then apposed to finding what I need to know.

make powerskips just 1 section

Then maybe in a sort of chronological order

FAQ's ( just 1 section--with a child board?)

Introductions

Places to bock

Clubbs groups

Becoming a better bocker

Pro-jump chat and powerbocking stories and experiences --combine them along with general chat and blog spots --another child board?

i get wot ur saying have diffrent catagories for adults and kids chat to make it easier to find what your looking for?

I don't know if it's possible Naz but the one thing I find is that I tend to miss some of the recent pics or vids

What would be ideal is something like the unread posts bit but for pics and vids as I find myself either missing the latest or searching through all the pic and vid gallerys

Now your gonna tell me it already exists arn't you and I'm gonna feel stupid again

well good news is it doesnt exist so you dont have to feel stupid

Bad news is I don't have a clue how to integrate that but I will ask the developer of the software.

The alternative is that I can set it so that every picture someone adds will automatically open a new thread like the videos currently do.

could you make the most recent pics bit in the Gallery a bit bigger 20 pics should keep us up with most days
