My bock started to squeek
« on: April 23, 2008, 08:08:45 PM »
Hey guys, I just adjusted my knee bars again, so that they felt more comfortable, and more stable when I jump, and I did the bolts up to about the same tightness as what they where, however, this time, one of my bocks began to squeek, like somthing is sliding or about to snap, like when u bend somthing too far. Ive had my bocks a while, but due to college, they arnt used very often, so there still not worn in properly. It sounds like the spring is creaking but im not sure, anyone got any ideas on what this could be??

OMG, that means that the spring is going to implode, just dispose of them asap.
If this explosion occurs the consequences could be fatal.

I would be more than happy to dispose of them for you, pm me for the address to send them too

Get a friend to look at them while you hold onto a wall and bounce that way you can locate the squeek

I would guess it is one of the bearings needing a little lubrication

best advice is to spray them in wd40...all over, but not so much near the rubber feet. Go and bock on them for 10 mins and repeat as needed.

The bocking is obviously to work in the wd40.
