In the past 2 weeks Ive been out with people who have had 'failures' which ruined or near ruined their day.
1st all the nuts and bolts came loose ( and 1 lost) that secure the knee bar ( early bath)
2nd a nut was lost at the bottom of the hoof bracket.
With so many people around, there is a chance of an unavoidable spring brake ( btw I will have 1 spare spring with me un im 12 stone and like a few others Ill be bringing a lil bag of odds and sods washers nuts bolts footplate etc)), but you are really gonna kick ourselves if you get an avoidable problem that leaves you grounded by about midday Sat
Check all nuts and bolts and give a quick dose of lube.
