it's really not, i thought my 2 months in wales was a long time, but here i am halfway back to surrey :D

trix: could do somewhere like kingston or staines etc, though staines is full of a certain type of undesirable teenager, and kingston is probably a little small for a big meet, and bocking on the mosaicy type circles down the high sctreet makes the weak decorative bricks break in half

could do guildford, but i doubt the uni would like me arriving with so many people, it's all opendays and suchlikes over the summer

To make it easy folks London is so big you wouldn't have problems

You could start the day at a different park or I think Glasto said the O2 center and around there is good and that is so far away from the sunday bock you wouldn't even be under the same police station

Ok, so tundraH gave you all the main info on that link --- the next question is, where are you comming from? you need to bear in mind that there is a possibility that the trains will be irregular as there are strikes. (this also says this on the info page.) It might be best getting a coach TBH.

Comming from EA somehwere lol. In regards to the strikes I think traveling on the sat will be fine. It is only the first trains between like 5-6am that will be the problem. I will still go by train if I go..

At risk of being redundant, I've gone through all of the forum threads on PJF and collated them into a wiki page:

http://w3bbo.com/bocking/index.php?title=Capital_Bocking_2009

Since it's a wiki, anyone can edit it if there are any updates. Registration is required (anti-spam reasons, there's been a lot of it lately).
