Trampolins
« on: September 10, 2008, 04:57:19 PM »
I've been bocking sometime now but never tried a flip.
Being big I've never tried anything like it neither ?

I know that trampolining isn't quite the same as bocking but it's closes you'd get.
I got a 14 foot round one with 88 springs on it ( 88 is the lowest number for 14 foot ).
I'm not set it up yet but hope fully later tonight.

The number of springs are like the weight on PJs' springs the more the harder, so 88 isn't the best I could have got ( but it was cheap  :) ) 14 feet trampolins got upto 120. I'll see how I get on with this one.

I got a safety net to go around it which I'll use as I've not bounce on one in years and there's some trees and fances right next to it and with my luck I'll end up in one of them.

I plan to leave it set up out side it's too big to take up and down, but instead off a plain flat rain cover I brought a dome tent/cover for it. It stops the rain getting on the spring and can be used as a den !

Once I've got it sorted out if any ones pass me ( who'd want to stop ) you can have a bounce.

I'll post some picture once I've got it up.

So who uses a trampolin to help with their bocking skills or got ant tips about trampolins ?

I'm fairly sure most advanced bockers will tell you a trampoline is the a key stage in learning anything involving being upside down on bocks, i know that practising on my trampoline has helped my flipping no end.  ;)

There is a design problem with this tent that means that snow builds up on it and it sags meaning even more snow can build up on it but I've already worked out how to elimination most to that problem.
for now I had to go inside and bounce on it to clear the fallen snow which did indeed work thou has it it still snowing I will need to repete this action again in a couple of hours.

Took me a bit of time to put up I'd never put one up before and was on my own.Had a quick bounce then thought I'd try and put the tent/cover on it which say's is a two man job LOL

It's spitting with rain now so I'm leaving it up.
I really like this cover/tent when I stand inside the tops out of reach which mean you can bounce a bit ( open the windows ) and it's warm even late at night. It's the size of a 9 man dome tent LOL

Maybe a little low would be tricky?
Check the pictures, my S-Rex is in the shots . Without bouncing I can't reach the heighest point so from a flat bed 6 foot or so.
If you keep your feet on the bed and just bounce a little you can bounce even when it's raining
Here a video I took the other day, heavy breathing I'd just been bouncing LOL

they arent that convenient to bounce on because its to low but you can fold the tent ova in about 2 mins to make a normal trampoline

Bounce  :-\
That's why there's all those springs  :o
I'm out on my stilts more don't get a chance to get on it, apart from doing a floor workout on it ( been going to the gym after work ) ?
