Last year i was in courcheval 1550, was amazing, saw a pendulum live set, and the prodigy! If you go somewhere big, chances are someone will be playing. Also, X-games anyone? xD

Les Trois Vallees ftw =]. Meribel tends to get very slushy in the afternoon though, so the ski home can be tiring. Meribel-Mottaret is also linked with Courchavel and Val Thorens, plus a few smaller valleys, 4 or 5 in total i believe. Biggest and IMHO Best ski area in Europe. However very expensive, especially with the value of the £ at the mo. Especially the nightlife!

Cheapest way of skiing is to book literally last minute, not early. Plus you can then guarentee snow, as you can pick where you ski. =]

i got fam just outside génevá so i always snowboard there or just over the border in france on mont jura,  this way we can just drive up the mountain in the morning and board till we drop, then go get changed and hit génevá's night life.
