Well theres running and theres striding.
You can stride, like a long spring-loaded step, or properly run - a high speed transfer of weight.
I've never really studied the physics of it, will look into it.

But be aware tierdness is when accidents happen
When i get tierd my kneebar starts to knock together. Then i know it's time to rest for a while.

Hi Scott, welcome to the forum.
Do search on youtube.com as there are quite a few videos online from alsorts of people. Everyone has a slightly different style of running, I do find my legs are quite far apart and it becomes more of a bouncy stride than running but still pretty fast.

Scott,
I've also got two cut elbows, have dusted of the elbow pads from my rollerbladers, will wear them next time. When rollerblading I only wear Wrist Guards, guess I though ProJumps would be the same, not really I now wear wrist, elbow, knee and a Helmet
Long way to fall, never get change to get your hands down first, watch out for Swan Do-Dah, it's slippery, and hurts a bit when you hit the ground.

Just got my Pro jumps. walk round my hallway first then out the door into the street. I can walk about ok. Il stick to this for the first week. then Id like to try a bounce! Didnt really find anything helpful about running on them here. So from what Ive seen on other vids peeps seem to swing their legs round in outward circles so they dont knock together. I havent tried thou, this would be my first move. If you try and fail.. Try harder next time! Good news is I went out on them for 2hrs, havent fallen yet! Famouse Last words! Rock on Peeps!

all this talk of people falling does anybody think that trimming the foam on the knee bar would make it cut down on them colliding?

i love spinting as fast as i can, im a fast runner normaly and i can got pretty fast on my pj's. wqhat you have to do is kick out infront of you more instead of following through and letting your leg swing up behind you.

To be honest I wouldnt worry about your running technique - it will all come in time.
You do kinda put ur legs in semi circles to begin with, but as ur experience and confidence grows it will turn more into a stride with your legs together and you wont even notice you changed. I think when i run my foot area is only an inch or 2 apart but i've not tripped or banged them together.
To be honest i get loads more "near misses" from not lifting my legs high enough and just clipping the ground but i usualy recover before losing my balance totally
