I hate to say it but it would, when your hands hit the ground they dont move, if you have wristies on they slide. If your hands went sliding the elbow would have taken the shock..
realy ? but if my hands slid id kiss the flor ?
better than breaking elbows, and if you fallon your wrists you tend to take the shock with the slide, so by the time your face gets near the floor,you should've almost stopped
or at least i've never managed to kiss the floor, sprained a wrist and bruised my butt a lot though
jsut remember wrists are pretty much the most important bit of your limbs, a busted legs not really too bad, but permenantly trash your wrist and you'll have trouble doing a hell of a lot later on
