So I would imagine Pomme is just an apple but it has been a long time

As for being duel/multi ethnic   or a non UK person domicile here. I work with a guy who is 100% Sicilian by parentage, we asked if he speak Italian and he replied, 'nah parents tried to teach me, but I couldnt be bothered'. So  the next question was , 'dont suppose you could get a 'contract' put out on the boss then?'

You are correct I did spell potato wrong but since the last time I have improved on my spelling. :)

I blame my girlfriend she has been making me use proper English when I type, I suppose it is a good thing. :P

But back on topic I am afraid the apple is better than the Spud, because apples are sweeter :) and everyone loves a nice sweet apple pie/crumble (unless your sour at heart and prefer a lemon crumble) :P

better test.

Do best/perfect apple reciepes  ditto potatoes   taste   what u like mostest...make notes

then repeat, swopping ingridients.     So   go 4 potato crumble, fried apples ( erm biased cos i think they r great!!! big wedges  fried in butter till soft , flombe in brandy ( or calvados 4 choice) turn on to kitchen paper and kept warm, fry/toast up some breadcrumbs in the remains in the pan, sprinkle over the apples and serve wiv vanilla ice cream!)

Wot best  baked potato or baked apple?

potato printing  apple printing?

apple shower gel  potato shower gel?

I really like the seriousness of the conversation I have created. :)
BUT...
With the new "Healthy" attitude of the country people would pick the apple as potatoes have to be cooked you cant eat them raw. (well you can but they taste horrid)

BUT!

Cant beat the old spud gun. :P

You will have to stick to the item

Syanide can be made if you want to kill someone and the apple in it's self is a tasty healthy one of your five a day :D that's conclusive evidence the apple is the best :P

Apples imported to uk last year 477,000

Total 720,000

Potatoes grown in uk last year 6,000,000
Potatoes imported to uk last year 1,400,000

Total 7,400,000

7,400,000 / 720,000 = 10.27777777777777777777777778

Therefore Spuds are 10.27777777777777777777777778 times more popular that apples in the UK

Those statistics show you that the potato is a very common object and can be got anywhere that number is only because we have so much bloody rain and potatoes are so easy to grow

So you've just shown that potatoes are a common item and the apple is a posh luxury ;)

No I have just shown that given the choice 10 out of 11 people will eat a potato based product over an apple based product

One that we havn't concidered yet are the amount of Crisps that people eat
