Bocking Demonstartion
« on: January 16, 2009, 03:25:07 PM »
I have been asked if we would attend a come and try it day at the North Kesteven Sports Centre from 1 till 4 on 31st January

We will have to provide the opportunity for people to try bocking (as we normally do)

I have been advised that there will be no cost to the club

Who is prepared to come and bock with the proviso that you also help me get anyone who wants to try the sport on the Pro-jump bocks we have

I'll have a pair of kiddie stilts so untill I get my hands on another pair I'll bring to this and every event we go to, I've even got branded new pads and a helmet for kids to use too.
So we can offer everyone a go safely  :CbiggrinS:

Please note

There has been some changes to the Itinerary by the organisers. They have cut down the time to 12 til 1 so we will only be on site for an hour.

It would be a bit of a trek for most for only an hour for most of you. Please rearrange your plans accordingly

I'll be there even if we can only been seen there.
I'll be there really early if anyone still wants to come along before hand.
With luck the weather may not be too bad at have a bounce outside somewhere.
The same go afterwards the gym too may even head into Lincoln.

I've a spare pair of 110's and a kids pair with all the padding so I've got everyone covered :)

I'll see if that girl from the gym wants another go but I know she's tight for cash but maybe we can twist her arm to get some. I think she told me she had friends that may like a go as well, I'll email her and find out LOL

Charlie B don't what your plan is but I'm dropping someone off there at about 10am.
I've no hand outs but I'll try to get something printed if I can make a print working.
So if I'm not around the gym I'll be looking for a "Hot spot" for my laptop  :Cradar:

So I'll be around the gym a good hour before and I'm in no rush afterwards if it's worth one of us haning around ?

Is it me or did you spell wrong wrong? ^_^

I didn't notice that at all until you pointed it out. But there hvae been serveal studeis taht suggset as long as the beignning and end lettres are corrcet, most pepole can raed the setnence and not notcie the mitsakes.

Unless perhaps you spell every other word wrong. ;)
Everyone's dreams sit aloft a rungless ladder. Some ladders are higher than others. Some are so tall they reach high above the clouds - but everyone can see their dream. Most people see that their ladder has no rungs and although they may talk about climbing it one day, seeing no way to get there, they eventually give up and settle for what lies beneath it.
The brave however, the wise, the imaginative and the strong of will seek out their missing rungs. They learn all they can about the ladder, they surround themselves with friends and family who would also find the rungs, and failing all else they craft the steps themselves with their own two hands from nothing. Sometimes a rung breaks and the person falls. Some of these people will fall too hard and lose the strength to climb again - Yet they feel comfort in knowing they tried. They became better for it. And they experienced things and witnessed sights upon the climb that those who sat forever beneath it will never know.
Then there are the special few who find new steps, or fix and climb again the ones that failed. Who eventually, through sheer tenacity and courage come to reach the final rung - Only they will have their dreams fulfilled. The extraordinary then build new ladders. These are the strongest people of all.

Just to say the weather doesn't look to bad but its cold out so I'll be about around 10-11 look for my car !

As long as a words contain 4 or more letters and the first and last letters are right the brain can work most sentences out. Or put them the same way read this quickly ?
As lnog as a wrods cotnain 4 or mroe letetrs and the frist and lsat letetrs are rihgt the brian can wrok msot snetnecs out.
