free energy, or i wish
« on: March 31, 2009, 03:35:54 PM »
hi
the americans are playing with fusion again and could have a good result soon
and just so you lot know what they are doing and what do you guy's think about it?

Does this mean they've finally alligned all the lasers cause I seem to remember a Horizon with this in and they just couldn't line up all the lasers on the tiny fuel source.

And to control such an experiment you need 4 giant metal arms connected to your spinal cord, which then become fused there. Turning you into a murdeous, 8-limbed psycho.

Ignoring the science for a moment, "free energy" is a myth because this all comes down to politics again. Sometime in the future we will develop an energy source that self replicates or whatever but you think we're gonna have one of these in our homes to light our lights, heat our rooms and provide all the power we need with no ongoing bills?
It will never, ever happen. The global economy simply will never support it.

fromt skimming that article it looks like they've jsut done what's already been done in europe, and that method is a very inpractical way of producing the energy, what's really needed is to get a few more CERN/ITER type correspondence, to get a couple more tokamaks up and running, unfortunately they're still horribly expensive and no-one's managed to get a decent tritium source for the D-T type reactions, D-D reactions are possible, but need higher temperatures/better containment

so in short the americans are one step behind by the looks of it  :Claugh:

(yes i did an A-level report all about fusion as a feasable energy source, TLDR: it's not)

We already have free energy it's called Sunshine

It heats the planet and makes the plants grow

Even oil came from it (dead plants years ago)

The trouble is people charge for it  :Claugh:

Energy sources could not be self replicated since Energy is supposevely composed of Quarks Which when combined create Mass... E.g 2 quarks combine into making a proton... Each one has 10j of energy and the end result will be a proton + 4 Joules of energy and minor mass of a proton  it is similar in the Lepton family except the Leptons combine and only use a minor use of energy to create minimal mass and maximum energy release e.g 2 leptons combine into making into a regular electron and each one has 10j of energy and only 2 jewels are used for creation of mass and other 18 jewels are released into energy of the electron making electrons extremely fast because if they weren't their negative polarity would make them crash into the proton destroiyng each other into energy but that is prevented by the Centrifugal force (or intertia) since electrons travel at a certain speed they only get a certain ammount of intertia and pull from the positive polarity and that is the space they will have to circle around Proton... Electron Co-exists in the space where forces are balanced and if they weren't and inplosion would happen and part of the matterial would be destroyed as well as Energy in a possible form of quarks and leptons might be released and over time may form another element.

Also the electron is created in this way because the Proton has a large pull and the electron has to co-exists in the space where it cannot be annihilated

We already have free energy it's called Sunshine

Sorry to break the disbelief but the Sun energy is still from Hydrogen particles that are burned out and radiation reaches our planet... Energy cannot be created and will eventually run out...

And goverment is making us pay for it which sucks :(

Sorry for long explanation i just wanted to get it right that energy isnt free and it cannot be made from nothing (void)  :CGEEK:

sorry i got to this bit and couldn't read any further:

Quote
Energy is supposevely composed of Quarks

think you'll find that quarks are made of energy, infact all matter is made from 1 dimensional strings of pure energy, which once combined give the illusion of the other dimensions

...or that's how string theory tells it, could jsut say that god is a capitalist and wont give away the energy free  :Claugh:

but the dg string theory has been replaced with m theory, giving it a 2d ideial
and the fact is energy can not be created or destroyed only tranfered from one form to another, and mattew is one form of energy, so this idea is that there will allway be the same amount of energy in the universe, but it is in what form we care about

how dare you defy the string theory! hethen XD

but the way matter is constructed remains the same, so my wtf at the phrase: Energy is supposevely composed of Quarks still stands :P

Sorry to say this but i allreaddy underlined Quarks Have NO DIMENTION... ITs pure energy and we cant really SEE energy unless it gives of light... OR feel it unless it is heat
so technicly energy makes up quarks

exactly what i said, you originally said energy is composed of quarks, meaning energy is made form quarks :P

i'm just being really technical for some reason

What Disbelief R3z0r

Everyone is talking about Free energy not Perpetual energy

The sun will eventually run out (not in our lifetime hopefully  :Claugh:)

Free means without charge so we are warmed by the sun for free it created almost every type of fuel we use hence the energy is free but people charge to change it into a form useable by the average person

Now if you are talking about energy produced without either the distruction, combustion or utilisation of another form of energy to provide it only one exists as far as I am aware

GRAVITY
and to bockers it is poisonous  :Claugh:

as far as i am aware gravity is the tranformation of the atomic strong and atomic weak forces, so this means that gravity is a different force and then it is just a different form of an energy

Ask any honest scientist and he will tell you that there are lots of theorys but no one is sure what causes planetary attraction

One of lifes little mysteries  :Claugh: we'd be in trouble without it so I'm not gonna push the point

Like the great man said (roughly)

When your sitting on a fifty ton rock flying through the air suspended only by a Druids belief it might not be the best time to discuss theology or doubt  :Claugh:

My other Pratchett favourite is the one about being as sensible as

A man standing on a hilltop in a thunder storm with one foot in a bucket of water, wearing Copper armour, waving a copper sword above his head and shouting
"All Gods are B*st*rds"

Can't you just see me doing that Toddy  :Claugh: just for a laugh like

Sorry to break the Disblief Jason but Gravity is not a form of energy its a form of FORCE...

When the masses spin around at a certain speed and they are of a certain mass they create gravity... Gravity as a force and it is different on different Planets.

Energy and a FORCE is different things...

Force is usually created by a certain contribution of energy or a physical state and a particular movement of objects that have Mass...

Gravity is not a form of energy its a form of FORCE...

tis a particle, an imaginary one, like the rest of the universe, which is made from imaginary forms of energy :D

i think you will find that it does not need to 'spin' as if they did why do all massive objects have gravity.
and i think you will find that it is an energy, as you get gravital potenshional energy

Yes I see three of the aformentioned Theorys there but it might be worth mentioning the "Lies to Children" syndrome

Telling us that the theory or reletivity is right is one of such still taught despite being proven largely misleading yet still the easiest way to explain it

As far as the force/energy arguement is concerned energy can be created by force and energy can exert/create a force

eg water turbines creating electrical energy from gravity acting on water so in this arguement for all intesive purposes the two can be thought of as one to reach the same conclusion
Unless your intention was to muddy the waters with irelevant data  R3z0r   :Ctongue:
