Just snuck in another quick bocking session and i got the straps sorted out. Ican stand up on my own now and am fairly confident walking on my own. 10 minutes in i started doing small in place jumps and small jumping strides. nothing fancy but just getting the feeling for it. Ive only had one fall and that was when they werent on properly so im ecstatic!

Cant go on them anymore till my brithday though or the wife will know (I cellotaped the bubblewrap onto the springs so there is no visible wear on them now lol). Im definitly gonna get some bike tires and make some armor for the springs though lol.

definatly a good idea... iv somehow already managed to scr***e mine fairly hard already :S

running is... wierd... im thinking its more like powerwalking with more bounce.

lol you know thats how i felt when i was doing my small spring steps i was like wow it takes alot of arm movement hahaha. My are looking pretty banged up aswell but its mostly from the one time i fell and scraping them whilst learning to stand on my own lol. All in all im impressed. Time to diet though so i can shed half a stone and get the most out of the springs.

Yeah those look pretty cool but i think the bike tires will be more damage resistant at the end of the day. Im probably wrong though lol.

There are some tutorials out there on the web just google stiltmods and it should be the first website that shows how to put the tires on and im thinking i might do that tomorrow after the big weekend in Cardiff.

I would like to but my wife is disabled and wheelchair dependant it can be a hassle for us to get to the bay on the busses sometimes, so we dont usualy go down there unless we have a ride from her mother as i cant drive hear yet. (Rather i can but it scares me because im on a different side of the road lol)

Sadly besides that i cant officialy use my bocks till august 11th so unless she lets me have them early it's a no go. Gonna watch the parade though so i can see some of the welsh bockers who are in it

The Bay = Cardiff Bay.

Capital Bocking Down The Bay Tomorow 11 o'clock. Probably only the welshies and EAs will get that

No i dont think ill be able to as my wifes birthday is on the 28th and we need all available cash for that because we are going to Brighton for a week as a small holiday type thing. Sucks that i have to miss something as huge as that but no worries ill make it next time lol.

Hahaha no worries guys ill make it for sure especially if its gonna be close to home. I would be able to go this year but ive only recently been allowed to work here in the UK and am having difficulties finding a job due to the economic climate lol.
