Doncaster Stadium Video
« on: February 12, 2007, 10:59:24 PM »
This is my (much edited) video from the doncaster visit we went to.

Basically stevie was working as the stadium announcer at a rugby game and the boss of the team thought it would be cool to have some people on springs there during the pre-match warm up so he invited anyone who could make it lol. It was great to meet so many people off the forum :)

If you're thinking the stadium looks empty thats because there are only 4000 people there and its a 15000 stadium...obviously they didnt advertise that we were gonna be there  8)
The wobbly camera-work is because I just took the cam out with me and got on with it lol.

Contains occasional swearing so you've been warned!

great vid Uncle Matt, BUTTTT a hate being called a stadium anouncer cos im not,  a stadium anouncer sits in a room anouncing,  i am on the pitch presenting the prematch entertainment and co-ordinating the event from running the dancers booking the sound system and live entertainment ie the blues brothers organising schoole teams to take part in half time activities making sure presentations are inplace and when its a Tv game/event i work closely with the production team and am responsible for timings to the second, should i continue,
so as you can see im not a stadium anouncer,
so there ha ha lol Uncle Matt,  luv ya loads Stevie

ps, truly a great vid, thanks for all your help mate.

Zeb fell. He landed the backflip and bounced into a chair that was cemented in place. I did try to get to him in time to push him forward but I wasnt close enough.
Amazing how the crowd cheered when someone falls but didn't even get one clap for us or the blues brothers :/ They were chanting "who are they" I think (at us) after he fell. It was the away-team crowd and we were in home team shirts so it was probably not meant in an insulting way as such.

Yeah I had to edit out all the clips of me singing along with them!

This is the video of us training in the gym after the match (we were already exhausted)

Contains strong language!
