Split Kick

My first attempt at a Split Kick, not very good so can anyone give me advise on how to get it better?

I thought that was pretty damn good actually.

The only thing I can really say is definately push down on take-off to get more height and power, as then you'll have longer in the air to get your legs further apart.

Work it up little bits at a time until you feel more confident, take it slowly and you'll be fine :)

Just tryed again, Flailing my arms this time and i fell and hurt my elbow :( Too much height

Practice the height first, THEN add in the split kick!

yet again agree with sprog. really really get the basics rite.  I  regularly meet peeps who flail around like pengiuns on acid who say 'cant weight to get in the gym and start flip training'. They would not be flip training, they would just be throwing themselves at a crash mat!

Just keep your chin up look str8 ahead and try to bounce higher and higher ( do it in front of a brick wall, you can then check how high you get AND at what point you are highest-at which point tricks are performed).

Your split kick seems good so dont worry.  A vid that shows both the ground and your head in same shot would b good so posture , and height can be noted and advised apon

Thanks :)  ill have another go tomorrow if the weather is good and will post how im getting along (with a better vid)  But i can normally jump 2-3 foot, but had a bad jump just before that Split Kick so didn't work to well :(
