Knee Strap Q
« on: August 19, 2009, 08:07:04 PM »
Hey!

Is my leg supposed to go behind the knee strap and tie the strap around the back of my leg? Coz it's what i do but I've got to big bruises on my shins from it. Perhaps thats from my knee bar being too low (Can't raise it, bolts too tight).

My dad says my leg should go between the knee bar and the strap, with the strap tied for tightness but i don't think that would work.

So guys, which is right?

The bar infront of your leg and the strap behind.

You will get bruises, i have huge ones. Thats why you should wear knee pads :)

knee bar should be about an inch from bottom of your knee. If it isnt there and you cant move it...lubricate the nuts un bolts. Seriously it makes a diff.

Ok shins bruised.Solutions

Extra padding on knee bar----plumbers insulation foam --cheap from  B&Q
Pads with shin guards
Wear trousers
Wear athletic knee supports
