View from my work place today
« on: November 01, 2009, 09:54:27 PM »
How about this for vertigo  :Claugh:

I took these pics at work today and we went up about as much again but I forgot to take the pics

That white square at the bottom middle of the fist pic is the lorry we were bolted to  :Claugh:

And the rain was so much fun while working with electric lights

Can anyone recognise the road

Bet you'd bottom out jumping from there! And any other bodily functions that might take you at the same time!
 :Claugh:
I recon the road you're on is Haymarket looking south east towards Pall mall, in the top picture. Near Her Majasty's Theater. Close?

all i would say is that ant bad, ive been up 135ft in a spider(like a chearry picker but alot more flexible) that was great fun
and jason should know the sort of ones im used to.

ive played in most of the high reach platforms now, only one left, man rider basket, and for you who dont know what that is, that is a cage that you are hocked onto(ur inside it) and then a 200ft+ crane picks it up and then u go where ever the wind blows  :Cchatterbox:

well on the ground there may be non, but once ur in the air there is

ive been in a 80ft chearry picker when on the ground there was no wind, and we got up about 60ft (the area where we were working) and we had to come down because the wind was way too much, we could have turned over it

First you are right on the button SNuD well done

This one went up to 45mts (about 150ft) and we did go up most of the way

Best bit was when the bloke had to reboot the computer while we were up there  :Claugh:

And yes it got windy but this one is ok up to 12mts a second (lean into it to walk speed) and the big one they have goes up to 60mts and I think is good for either 16 or 60 mts a second think he said 60 but not sure

Yep Toddy we use spiders in the theatres to paint and repair the ceilings in the auditorium

Now the yellow car (orange at the back actually) we it is driven by a smart copper  :Claugh:

Police should have Yellow cars so that people will end up hitting each other and then the police can arrest them for reckless driving :D
