Is this a good bocking spot ?
« on: December 19, 2009, 03:34:29 PM »
Here is the list of the things around where i want to bock:

4 Different sets of stairs with different heights and lengths
a wall with one side concrete and other grass for flips and vaulting
3 small parks and one major parks for obstacles to jump over
rails with different heights, 20cm,  50cm, 70cm and 1.5m ( approx )
Loads of other walls with concrete and both sides
no major roads nearby
KFC, Greggs, Mcdonalds, Morrisons, Newsagents, Peter's Bakery, Wilkinsons & a chemist  :Claugh:
Large car park that only has a couple of cars
Large Area's of grass
Really big flat tarmac area that no people go to

And This is all within a 10minute normal walk within my house aswell !       ( I live in Newcastle, Killingworth BTW )

There's a pub right next to KFC and mcdonalds where i live    But i didn't mention it because i am underage  :Cmad:   well if we can get a msn chat thing with all the bockers in newcastle or people willing to come up we can meet up sometime (after i get them in 5 days )
Anyways,  the beaches down newcastle are nice and there's like 6 gyms of which i know of within like 20miles of where i live.
And the group me and my friend made is BlackAndWhite Bockers  ( Black & White For Newcastle ) so i think we should all join that yay...    :Claugh:

we have a group: Tyne Tees Bockers

the 3 of us round the boro' have met up briefly & have gym stuff kinda, but i wont be starting those til next year cos im home for a bit - and just the other day we were talking about meeting up with the newcastle lot, and we were gonna arrange it soon once we'd chatted about it a bit - stop insinuating we're all disorganised when we're tryng to get things rolling, and round our way they are starting to

though some of them steps sound nice

Yeah,  i just want people to join black and white bockers because my friend has been planning the whole group thing since like october  :Claugh:    we have made a website/youtube/email/rota/objectives and all sorts lol

Oh well,  i'd love to have a big meet in newcastle as i can't really travel too far and i highly doubt i'd be allowed to go to middlesborough and places around there by myself lol

the fact of the matter is that a website, a channel, a name, all of that, are a waste of time and energy when you're not getting regular public meets, which at the moment its too cold to really do effectively. we're trying our best with gym meets already, but its difficult - im thinking of enrolling in a 1st aid course so that its easier for us to find a good gym in the boro, but we have somewhere that will let us do it as long as their gym isnt busy on a wednesday night, so when i go back, im going to join some who already attend that gym on those nights - we have a few logo ideas, which if want to contribute, you can send to me we will include in a poll for our group logo soon, but there's been little interest in entries so i've been trying to finish one off of my own, but my sofware's gone a bit iffy, im going to try and finish it off while im home

this is so we can get some shirts made for the summer for when the public meets start, as soon as we have a logo im going to get that sorted for everyone's benefit

My friend only made them to be organised so everything wasn't last-minute and we also have a gym which we can use but i don't know about people from the boro'.   and i can't draw or design anything but i will ask my sister who is a really good artist if she has any ideas.

My sister designed a logo but i don't think it would fit in with the boro' very well so im guessing if the group does get spilt up it would suit the newcastle more, but she's a really good artist off and on the computer, so if you have any ideas for a Tyne-Tees logo or something just tell me
