We have been asked at very late notice if we would like to attend and take part in the May Day Parade. Always good fun with 1,00`s of people watching. It is the biggest public event that the Yellowbelly bockers are asked to attend
This will be from approx 9:30 am until 16:00 on Saturday 1st May
It will involve approx 2/3 hours on stilts. You do not have to be an exceptional talent, walking is ok, bouncing if you can, tricks if confident. Last year we just walked and bounced and that was enough. It took me two days to recover !!!
I will post more info as soon as possible about times, start venue and numbers required etc once I have spoken to an organiser. In the meantime please can you indicate if you are able to attend. There were 3 of us last year would like to have a bit more of a presence if allowed this year. Can you advise if you are available. Numbers may well be limited if we are asked to dress up in costume, though not sure at the moment.
