Winchester 3rd July

Me and a few friends are meeting up in Winchester this Saturday for the hat fair and I'll be taking my stilts. From looking at google maps, it looks like I'll be passing Basingstoke on my way down - so how about some of you guys come down and enjoy the festival? The hat fair is a street performance kinda thing, free entry.

OOO I know the hat fair!  It is gud fun.   Un my sister lives in Winchester  and its her birthday on Sat and she has a new (£500!!!) kitten I aint seen yet, tho she is doing some emergancy fostering.  OOO and this is gonna be only my 2nd Saturday off this year.


Soooo Im pretty tempted, tho gotta say I dont  recAll too much in the way of fab bock spots.  But would be a fun day out.

I wouldn't mind tagging along, tho I have a driving lesson Saturday- I might need to reschedule

If Dave is 'up for it' Id be picking him up about 1230-1300 and in Winch 45 min later   if he cant make it  i can be earlier

mMaybe the Market cross at 1230 would be better? Then peeps early can wonder and peeps can arrive just in time? ( for any1 unsure, Winchester is a Medieaval based city ...so tiny... the stone cross is in the ded centre of a V small pedestrian area that is the centre of the city and less than 10 min walk from station)

The plan is too meet with people just outside of the Winchester train station at 12 noon. I'll be arriving by 12:10 from Reading
