I'd like to try to come to this. Haven't had the stilts on since WFL, so need to give them a good service first.

Wouldn't stay, as I'm off to V Festival on Sunday 22nd.

Well I have some bad news. Cardiff Council have got back to me and confirm that the 21st the whole basin is being used exclusively for an event which means it will probably be completely fenced off. There are no weekends in august when it is free either

So I dont know where that leaves things really. I can try for a weekday but I know that significantly reduces options for people.

The council have told me the next weekend that is free in the oval basin (at the moment) is October 9th and 10th.

not exactly a summer meet anymore but october it is.
Someone book the weather.

It is unlikely an event will be booked in october so the basin area should remain clear but I will check again with the council closer to the date.

Those wanting to come to cardiff during the summer, note that although the oval basin may be fanced off (often its not because the events are generally open to public) there is still plenty of room outside the basin to bock. Just check some of the CB08 videos.

I have been out the country and stuff for a little while and just got back to this. I would love to come to Cardiff on 21st however its my dad's 60th so doubt I can make it.
