I'm sorry to say we also will not be coming down. I was hoping to hire a car for it but the local car hire company only had larger cars available which were £88 for the weekend and split between 5 of us, with petrol, parking and 7 bridge toll on top, it was just too much money for us :(

I'll let you know if anything changes.

Well I'm coming with stilts.. N mum is coming as (GC) ground crew. Who's got the ground crew shirts lol?? If it's no one, then I think we should get some made or maybe a armband saying official pro-jump ground crew.

It would then act as a form of advertising and they could also hand out the cards if needs be.. While also doing the normal stuff of acting as our pets ( fetching water/drinks and other items ) and they wouldn't be ground crew with out acting as a place for us to balance lol.

It's all part of the service lol.

Can't wait to see you guys n girls all again..

I would say this is the event where we can let our hair down  n have fun but most well ok a few of us don't have hair left ( Jason lol )

So those of us that do and is long enough to let down.. Do so lol.

Hi Mandy,

I think most people will be meeting at the London Eye, from 3.00pm onwards.  Then moving on after and hour or two.

I guess the train to Waterloo would be much less hassle, as parking isn't cheap in London, but less flexible than having your own car obviously.

The parking I booked for walk for life near tower bridge was £16 for 24 hours.  Bout the cheapest I could find, but you'd still have to pay from the tube probably to get to the eye.  (Q-Park - Butlers Wharf)

I was wondering if its worth a few people meting up further out of the centre where you can park for free, and taking 1 car in to share the parking.

Hmmmmmmm........Why did I buy these again?!?!?!?

Just to recap on the parking

All day sunday free parking in a lot of places namely

A lot parking bays are free on a sunday (but do check the signs as some arn't)
Single yellow lines with no bars on the pavement (yellow lines across the curb anything from 1 to 3) but again check the signs as some have time restrictions

Just to give you an idea both Carl and I got parked within walking distance of the London Palladium on a sunday at about 4ish but it took some doing
Out by the Eye you should find some side streets or just over waterloo bridge

But as usual read the signs to make sure

I can't make it till later (about 5-6 ish so I will catch up with you then)

The eye is normally good for a couple of 3 hrs so you will probably be on the way to Covent garden of one of the SQ's about the time I turn up (Covent garden is a good photo spot)

Will miss you DC get well soon
