I have mine as low as Kiola for exactly the same reason, easier to do moves like "checking". If you find that the springs are hitting the back of your legs, go to B&Q (or any other DIY outlet
) and get one of those pads your nan kneels on to do the gardening, cut two footplate pieces out and attatch to you foot plates, you might find you don't even have to touch the knee bars as it places your legs higher in the frames!
