Flipping tips?
« on: December 26, 2010, 10:37:06 PM »
Hello.

I'm new to this forum, but not to bocking. I've been bocking for around three or four months now. I can jump (simple 1 - 3ft), stride, walk, run and some others that I may of forgotten.

But I now want to learn to flip. I have no past history of backflipping on trampolines, apart from a few frontflips that land on my arse.

Does anyone know where I could start? I don't want to injure myself in the progress since I've already had a few incidents with thorn bushes. My current county is Lancashire if you need to know. Maybe any sports centres that teach this with soft mats?

Thank you! :Csmile:

Hi Silentfood

Not sure which groups are near you but if your not to far from Brum you could visit SkyHigh and they would have you flipping before you know it

Don't think there are any Gyms that will teach you on bocks but quite a few will help on your feet

Most groups tend to rent a gym for a few hours and then do what they want (whithin reason  :Claugh:)

Good luck

Hi, thanks for that.
I will consider booking a few sessions with a friend of mine who would also consider looking into flipping.

Does SkyHigh have any contact information? Thank you, Jak.

SkyHigh are a group near Brum and are in our groups section here

If you contact Nero on here he will tell you when there next gym session is (or the next meet might be worth going to just to meet up with them)

This is the link to the group on here I think they have a web site too

http://www.projumpforum.co.uk/index.php?board=68.0

Have a look through ths and you should find all about them

Just found the Skyhigh web site heres the link
