Here in sweden its Midsummer tomorrow and in sweden this is a big moment, like christmas, we will sit outside in the sun and we will eat herring and potatoes and much more and drink alot of beer  :Cyes:

or like it says on wikipedia about midsummer (midsommar on swedish)

"Midsummer is a holiday celebrated around the summer solstice. The origin of the Midsummer's pre-Christian, but the Church chose to celebrate John the Baptist's birth at the same time. Today is celebrated Midsummer in Sweden to dance around the maypole, and often with herring and potatoes on the dinner table."

Pagan midsummer celebration

From the astronomical point of view, a nearby day-to-day midsummer the day with the longest day, summer solstice. At the northernmost and southernmost latitudes, that is north of the Arctic Circle or south of the southern polar circle, the sun is not even down below the horizon and it is bright around the clock.

Because there are several stone monuments that show that people thousands of years been able to determine when the summer solstice occurs it is likely that some form of celebration occurred around midsummer far back in time. Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere was the first day of the third quarter, (the old-time solkalendrar). Other celebrations were New Year at the vernal equinox, half of the autumnal equinox, the last quarter of the winter solstice and the in-between lying eighth why.

In the Nordic Bronze Age occurred in Sweden sun worship [1] Some of the dances and rites that are believed to have been given to celebrate the sun are kept at the petroglyphs. [2] Exactly how the celebration of summer solstice went to, there are few resources, but it is probable that it's been in the form of sacrificial feasts in fertility signs, in many ways similar May Day celebrations in other Western European countries. However, data on the prevalence of midsummer sacrifice "sporadic and hesitant." [

SO EVERYONE TAKE CARE AND DONT GET YOURSELF TO DRUNK, HAVE FUN WITH FRIENDS & FAMILY.
