The Big Summer meet, "Capital Bocking" Sun 19th Aug, London

Meeting at Speakers corner in Hyde park, nearest tube is marble Arch, at 11am. We will have a bock around the park then take in some of London's land marks. This will probably be the biggest UK meet of the year. Try to make it if you can and before you ask the time and date are not moveable. There are people coming from overseas for this event so ther will be no changes. Sprog has designed the official T-shirt for the event, details for this are on the other forum

There may be a visitor from USA too. I suspect a word or 2 will be dropped on a german Language forum so we could get a few German or Austrians. Matt and his 'mob' will be coming from Wales and crossing the river Severn ---so I guess that 'just' about counts too.

well im bookin it off work phoned them tellin them i was un available as i had to go to london for something important and personal lol. but ill be coming from cambridge will try n bring a few freinds to if they can get time off, try n get swebounce to come that would well cool

the more the merrier, so far there are 14 confirmed and about 10 more very likely to come. I can see this attracting at least 30-40 bockers so will probably be the biggest meet all year. it's gonna be great

On my first meet ever which was also in London in January I was very wobbly, don't worry about it. It will be a great day out with lots of other bockers who will be able to help with technique and encouragement.... as well as laughing at each other

Paul, we have a guy from Rhode Island USA asking about cheap hotels in london and a another in california asking us to give him reasons to convince his parents to pay up!!

Another guy in Sweden is a  very def maybe  and nothing has been posted on the german language sites yet!
