From walking to running

Now I've just about mastered running and know it hard to start  so here how I did it.

1) Stand next to a fence ( six foot is about right ) and jog on the spot grab the fence if you feel your losing your balance. Keep your knees high.

2) Turn along the fence and jog slowly along it grabbing hold of the fence if you feel your falling. You may find you feel better jogging one way more than the other. that's fine, walk back to your start piont and repeat (2).

3) Build up the distance you can jog without grabbing the fence before you push harder off each leg and leaning forward, this will build up speed.

4) Repeat 2 and 3 untill you do not need the fence anymore.

In no time you'll be running at speed. Remember stopping gets a little tricker  ;D

Just one more thing if it's not your fence. Ask the owner if it's OK. You shouldn't break the fence but running up and down a 6 foot fence you can see over their fence and if it's a six foot fence then maybe they don't want poeple looking over it ?
Manners cost nothing we 'Bockers' are all nice people  :)
