Hello my Pro-jump buddy
u should put some mats down (alot of mats so it is like a crash map) then try and flip on that but dont try and land, so u get the feelin of flippin in the air, then try and land on the mats, if u can then go for it if not keep tryin (all tho tryin to land on maps is abit hard but hay go for it i would lol)

Can you flip standing up? As in on normal feet?

I can Backflip From Standing, But cant bring myself to do it on the stilts. (yet) think i'll get some body to video it if i pluck up the courage to try.   I cant forward flip at all though.

Back flips are easier to do as you can spot your landing. With a front flip you cant see the landing spot....if you can, you have over rotated  ;)

Its easyer to land a backflip than a front but if you screw up on a backflip you can land on your neck.
On a front you land on your ass.

I'm in the process of inventing and creating a low-budget harness system for learning flips etc! Haha, it should be cool!
It'll work as well! I'll make sure! Wooooo...gonna be fun doing flips ;D

Why not try one if them harnesses for trampolining that you see at funfairs and things with elastic ropes? I'll try and get a pic.

Just make sure to learn the flips on a trampoline first.

I have started trampoline classes last weekend. Its already made a difference with how confident I am jumping on my bocks. I haven't started flipping on the tramp yet but I know it will make me feel more confident when I try on me PJ's

not if you were flipping on a trampoline.. a tramp. is soo much springyer.. so you would gain technique yes.. but it would be nothing like doing it on your stilts.

i used to gymnastics when i was younger and could flip i have lost it over the years but i am pretty positive the harness thing will only get you used to being upside down and wont help learn how to do flips... mainly because you need your arms to get the spin and the harness would get in your way of doing that...

and i know you can flip with out your arms but when learning they are pretty integral, and big motions, got to admit it even when i get back into flips on foot i would be warry with the added weight of the PJ and the added spring they give the jump along with the fact you will have to land correctly down on them or your on your ass...
the day after tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life... that way you always have a day in hand

i think that what you need to learn flips is matts.. along with a little experience in flipping off a diving board or on a trapoline.. and then its easy.. ive seen it happen soo many times now.. i agree with the idea of the harness being a bad idea because the team have had bad experiences with it in the past.. but it may work for others.. im just guessing here..

Are you using the same technique on the pro-jumps as on the tramp when your flipping...

But isn`T it much harder to flip on a pro-jumps than on a tramp.

And in this week i have started to land on my face and not my legs going to far around ;D
