new springs...
« on: September 18, 2007, 11:01:25 PM »
Well to start off ive said somewere that im thinking about getting new springs a size up from mine, but now that ive seen the vid of me jumping ive decided to leave it till i properly muck these sprigns up, i dont need new springs as im gettign high as i want,i thought i was gettign around 3 foot but i now realize i can get around 5 foot,  thought i might aswell put this up as it can help out in the way that you gotta remember dont go by what you think your getting... video your jumps and then go by how high you get on the video so much morte acurate ive found :) as you can see what your donig and you dont need to worry about asking other people who always get measurments wrong

The best way is probably to try something like what Jason is doing in the following picture by using a cane or stick and trying to jump over that

An excellent video was made by Rich on height training :) using the same method

I would suggest doing a Jason style "show jumping" effort if you aren't sure about the height.  We don't want you face planting after trying to jump a wheelie bin stood up, now do we.

a wheely bin sounds fun bit scary tho lol i like the idea of thecane so if oyu clip it it just gets knocked off like a high jump bar also i think ive seen the vid of someone useing the cane before will have to try it in the future :)
