my first bounce
« on: October 23, 2006, 06:11:11 PM »
wooohooooo

my other half gave in ( alot of begging and pleading ) i got them a week early was going to give them a go yesterday but it rained all day

monday 2.25 i took my first steps (it was like bambi standing up) the plant growing over the door made a very good way of climbing up and hanging onto while i had abit of a bounce then i made the first steps

i made it to the end of my path without planting my face into the concrete

im walking well and can run(i use this loosely) it more like a very bouncey walk
but not bad for 45 mins

im hopeing for a dry day on tue to give it another go

shaun :)

hey Shaun
Thats great news, glad she gave in and theres no bruises yet!
When I first stood up I thought, I cant walk in these!! I was bouncy/running about an hour later :)

Be careful and have fun! :D

Are newbies really taking their first bambi steps without a helmet and wrist guards or am I just over reacting because I've not yet ordered mine?

An extra 2 feet is a long way for your head to fall and spew your brains out onto the  pavement/road/plant by the door  :)
