The more you contribute to the forum the higher the rating you get.
So if you can add something to a topic don't be shy  :)

The more you post, the higher your level becomes.
Just don't go spamming everywhere, double posting and posting pointless stuff like "ok" "yeah" and similar things because people will get annoyed with you :)

People have spammed the board in the past on the forums and suffered the wrath of many members. Just make sure your posts add some value, the most important thing here is that you are a part of the community, not what title you have under your avatar.

Be proud of being a Newbie mightydblok

It affords you a few things that getting higher up the ladder are blocked to you

1 It give people an idea of your level of knowledge about the subject and they can then be kind if you make an error that made by a senior would bring the wrath of the whole forum on your head  ;) ;D

2 If you ask a stupid question (I still do it all the time but I have the excuse of being stupid  ;D) we will try to explain instead of ignoring you or ridiculing

3 If you have a problem a lot of us will rush to your aid to help you get Bocking again

The only thing it won't protect you from is the combined vengence of the Spelling Patrol (Sprog and ET ) or the wolf pack that hunt needless posters trying to up their tag (names with held for cowardice reasons  ;D thats my cowardice not theirs  ;D)

So unwitingly you just threw youself to the Wolves  ;D nice to know I'm not the only one that does things like that  ;D

Welcome to the forum (if I hav'nt already welcomed you (bad memory getting old) and don't let it put you off we're all nice really

Jason

haha... I was just being cheeky  :D

But I do totally agree with Jason, couldn't have written it better myself  ;D

Ok a proper post for you then...

The status's is something that is built into the forum, it doesn’t mean that if you are a newbie it's anything to be ashamed of, just means that you are new to the forum - not new to the sport so some new members have just as much knowledge if not more!

Don't be afraid to post, if you have a question just ask away, all you have to do is make sure its in the right section and try your best to use proper English :)

(by the way every time I write a post to use proper English, I tend to make some mistakes in it lol)
