Nobby: Cheers for that link; I did have a look but none of the dog collars seem to be available to purchase on that site.
-I did have a look on eBay though, and found these [http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-5-m-Med-Duty-surfboard-Canoe-webbing-tie-down-straps_W0QQitemZ140251778556QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item140251778556&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318]
Can anyone recommend?/.
Opal: Yes; it's the Shooter's Hill Road alright! Although I don't spend time on the grass, I go into Greenwich park itself as there's plenty of smooth concrete paths around there, perfect for bocking! Great to get out to the observatory as I've just done as the Sun is setting over London. I'll definitely look into some of those gym meets; will keep in touch/.
Used my PJ's for the second time this evening, and have started learning to bounce with 2 feet together; it's tricky but this YouTube video did help me a lot [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QddfAUbb9lk] so many thanks to the guy/girl who produced it. I think the bit about keeping straight when actually bouncing and then only bending your knees for height once you're up in the air again are really great tips! I'm still working on it, but happy with my progress so far. I managed to get a couple of decent high 2-footed bounces this evening. It takes a while to get the confidence to bounce through the heels on 2 feet as it always feels as though you're going to tip backwards!/...
Anyhow, one other thing which IS concerning me is my legs! I think I need some padding as for the second time the straps have been cutting into my flesh as illustrated by the photo! Ouch!! I just had to wash my leg in the shower as it was really painful. I'm guessing it's because I wear shorts whilst bocking rather than trousers so effectively it's strap on skin rather than anything else. I think some padding will hopefully solve the job. Please let me know what you guys think!/.
Cheers,
Kirk
