possibly a second day in a big sports centre if we can get one.

if you need help locating a gym in that area i'm around form the start of august, with lots of free time, only useable 'gym' i know of is the school in hanworth, but uh that's a little small

might be possible to get the big sports centre in guildford, but a)it's expensive and b)they'd probably want insurance and the like

Yes. 22nd/23rd August. It's in the thread.

It's in London. That's as far as I've got.

there were none. We contacted the met and they said ok but dont block any roads. Assuming this year will attract as many bockers as last year or more, than I dont think the same rules apply.

People meeting up, bocking, chatting, etc. That's it. That's CB. There was the possibility of a gym but I feel it is far too late now to even contemplate booking one, let alone one for 100-odd people

once we know what we're doing could we post and itinerary somewhere so everyone can see?
Could we? You organising it then? Sorted.
As far as I'm aware there's no need for an itinerary for CB. All you need is a date, and a start location/time. Of which one has been stated, and I would expect the other to be Speaker's Corner, Hyde Park, 11am. Like last time.

i want to make sure everything's done and its as big of an event as last year  :Cwink:
Do it yourself then.

oh and nothing been done about t-shirts yet
Tada:

ET phoned the MET, they pretty much said "Whatever" and didn't really care. I'd suggest doing the same this year.

Darf, thanks for getting this rolling, thanks to Muncher too for doing some legwork :)

2007 T's were Red, or Blue for Organisers
2008 T's were White, or Black for Organisers
I'd suggest 2009 follows the same theme, maybe with green and yellow?

Infact, sod it. Done.

The beauty of zazzle is that you can pick any colour you like :P not that I suggest we all do but..bugs are attracted badly to yellow, somewhat to that bright green and orange too. Fair do's I spend lots of time on the airfeild where the bugs love but I wont wear those colours now lol

Sorry  :Cmask:

Spud, the beauty of organising one colour is that it will look much better if everyone wears it rather than everyone just picking random colours :P

If people prefer Green, Organisers can have yellow, or whatever colour they choose and I'll put it up.
If you want to do spreadshirt, go for it, the 2008 organiser ones came from there.

They said as long as it was less than 2 coach loads of people it would be ok. I would still call them and let them know.

Nah, I'm just getting a bit fed up with the fact it's highly unlikely I'll be there this year, yet I'm still helping to organise it, and people are demanding info and that things be done, when they're sat on their asses doing sod all themselves. Hence why I'm very thankful to Darf and Muncher for offering to help with organising it :)
