Mobile bockers storage

I did say something about this at CB08 but didn't have the cash to do it before CB.

For any bocker who drives you know what a pain it can be getting something out your car with your stilts on. If you want some pictures/drink or something to eat and don't want to carry it around you have to dig it out from somewhere in the car !
Yes you can do it but there's a easier way .... Roofbox
Just stand next to your car wouldn't a roofbox be the right height for you to put everything you'd need for the day.

But you know me I've just brought a big roofbox and I'm working out how to fit a BBQ in it
A BBQ for bockers only ( well the ground crew may get a sausage biscuit   ;);D

This is my roofbox 250x80x40/20 cm

Looks like something from Star Trek

However, a cheaper alternative is a backpack :P

But would you go bocking with a camera and your dinner on your back all day  ???
I could store everyone stuff at the meet there  :)

Oh I can't wait to you use your backpack for a BBQ  :woohoo:
Fire ! Fire ! Sprogs on fire !

Disposable BBQ in bag, place on floor, sorted. I'm not standing around on bocks for a BBQ!
Fire! Fire! DK's car is on fire! :nana:

I know you'd say that but ?
If your wearing stilts the BBQ on the floor a long way way ?

BRB my car's on fire !!!

I'm thinking that if you use a disposable BBQ in a metal craddle on a metal plate in a wooden mount in the roofbox the heat should reach the car  :nana:

You laught at FUSION said I was mad but the next pairs going to be much better !
Jason's Mk2 Hoofies " Too much effort " ?
PinHead's Str***es how many tries did it take to get it right ?
And as for Tire Sock !?

Went to buy me a paper at the local news-stand
And then I heard them laugh and say
Look, they're gonna go flying way up to the moon now
Hey, what's it good for anyway
So I said
Fellas, like to ask you a thing if I may

What about Livingstone
What about all those men
Who have sacrificed their lives to lead the way
Tell me, wasn't it worth the while
Travelling up the Nile
Putting themselves on test
Didn't that help the rest
Wasn't it worth it then
What about Livingstone

Actually DK, I never laughed at your fusions  :(

My comment was aimed at the way you wrote the above it was a little joke, if I knew you would take offense I wouldn't have bothered  ;)

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room!

Well I've got it home.
Does look like a warp engine nacelle from Star Trek  ;D
I'll work out how to mount in on the roof then workout where the BBQ will fit
